3 Self-Care Tips That Help Out With Skincare

I didn't realize how important self-care was until I noticed that I couldn't remember the simple things. Things like what time it was, even though I had just looked at the clock, or like reading a paragraph in a book over and over because you can't seem to concentrate. When I don't take care of myself, my skin is the first place it shows. We all want to live a long and healthy life, but trying to figure out the steps seems exhausting at times. We don't know where to start, or even if it REALLY will make a difference.

Here are our top 3 self-care tips that help you achieve beautiful glowing skin:
  1. DRINK MORE WATER! No seriously though, drink more water. Did you know that just drinking 4-6 more (than you already do, we should all be getting at least 8) cups of water per day can leave your hair, skin, and nails healthy and stronger than ever? It's simple, and best of all, it's FREE! By counting your water for the day, it can help with being cognitive and present.
  2. Give Yourself a Face Massage. Pick a day out of the week where you have the time to zone out and give yourself 30 minutes. Apply some face serum and use your fingertips to get your blood circulation going. We recommend vitamin C serum because it can help out with uneven skin. You can even make your own toner with lemon juice and water, which helps with brightening. Play some music, or a podcast while you are doing this to help out with relaxing.
  3. Eat More Veggies. Getting healthy skin starts from within. I know that sounds like a catchy slogan, but it's the truth. There's no better way than to put your vitamins into your body with nutritious food. Look up some recipes so that you can have two nights out of the week to be a "Veggie Night" and see how creative you can be with your family! Eating all of your veggies will also help with psoriasis and eczema and will help minimize breakouts.
